FAMILY LIFE RENEWAL FOR ALL THE FAMILY
Couples for Christ - Singles for Christ - Youth for Christ - Kids for Christ
Handmaids of the Lord - Servants of the Lord.
Not just a once-off programme, but ongoing support environment for all family members in a peer to peer environment, to help and assist to live truly Chrstian family life in today's world. Family life renewal begins with an individual encounter with Christ and transformation in Christ through the power of His Holy Spirit. To be affective in the family, we ourselves need to change. Family Life Renewal follows on from personal renewal in Christ.

Couples for Christ (CFC) is a lay ministry for marriage and family life renewal. The unique features of CFC are:
Every member of the family is included; children, youth, singles, adults, grandparents.
Spouses who are not Catholic are welcome.
The widowed, single parents, divorced, separated - all are welcome.
Our youth programmes include parish based, school based and campus based programmes
The social ministries of CFC include medical missions, schools and education, ministry for women, small business development, micro financing, prison ministry, armed forces ministry, renewing the environment.
CFC is also involved in 'building community' through its Gawad Kalinga (give care) pillar. Current projects include 700 000 houses in 7000 squatter areas in 7 years - or GK777 as it is known.

Couples for Christ is going back to basics - to it's original Charism of Marriage and Family Life. In the Philippines, the social ministries have grown to such an extent that members were losing sight of the work for evangelisation of the family, CFC's original call and purpose of its being.
So for 2008 and onwards, Frank Padilla [International Mission Director and member of the Pontifical Council for the Family] is leading a "restoration of the original charism of Couples for Christ.
This restoration comes under the title of:
COUPLES FOR CHRIST - FOUNDATION FOR FAMILY AND LIFE
