You have shown the community that you are in compliance with the upgrading of education in this state of transition in South Africa."

from the Auxiliary Bishop of Johannesburg, Bishop Z P Mvemve's 'thank you' letter to a donor: "There is jubilation in our Diocesan schools these days as they have benefited from your support.

We are pleased to report that it has been confirmed that five schools, and not three as mentioned in the January Newsletter, will be getting the increased subsidy this year.

Your support, therefore, has not only brought benefits through the improvements we have made, but also a dividend in that the increased subsidy will greatly help towards the escalating running costs."

4 December 1991 from a 'thank you' letter to a donor: "I am pleased to be able to tell you that we have already helped some of the most needy schools. This involved the electrification of one school which will soon be assessed for the upgrading of its State Subsidy."
